Erk FM: Australia 366 – By Your Side At The Newsagency!

Welcome to Erk FM: Australia episode 366. Last weekend, Erk had the pleasure of being in a very tightly packed inner western Sydney venue The Newsagency for Alison Avron's EP launch as discussed on Erk FM: Australia episode 362. It was a sold out event with both audience members & performers having a great time. The night was filled with zany lyrics, humour & lots of laughter. It was certainly the sort of night Erk needed!

 

 

The first artist on this episode is Imogen Bel, Originally from Newcastle, Imogen is now calling Sydney home. Her first Sydney gig was actually at The Newsagency.  Following Imogen on the episode is Helen Perris. Erk last saw Helen at the same venue when she was heavily pregnant but she's back with baby in tow & working towards a new EP.  Finally, the episode will feature the lady of the episode, Alison Avron (of course!). Each lady brings something to the table but also harmonise together so well!

 

On the night, Imogen & Helen did backing vocals for Alison. There will be a couple of live tracks to end the episode.
