Erk FM: Australia 380 – On Location From Helen Perris’ Palace In Suburbia

Welcome to Erk FM: Australia episode 380. On this episode, Erk ventures from one part of western Sydney to another to meet singer, songwriter, pianist, music teacher & mother, Helen Perris. During the wide ranging interview, we talk about music, teaching of music, Helen's previous EP Flesh, her new EP that is (at the time of recording) being crowd funded and a lot more.  

 

 

Erk is very used to recording interviews on location with the associated distractions and noise but having an interviewee with baby in attendance was very interesting. Erk would like to stress that no babies (including the baby that you will hear often on this episode, affectionately known as Mr 0 - for the moment at least - on social media) were harmed during the recording of this interview. Included on this episode are a couple of tracks from the Flesh EP & a live recording of Palace In Suburbia as recorded by Erk at The Newsagency in 2012.
