The Franco-German relationship is more important than ever in order
to deal with international crises and to develop a common European
foreign and security policy. With elections coming up, William
Glucroft discusses the strategic outlook with Ronja Kempin and
Maurice Paul. Guests: Ronja Kempin is a Senior Fellow in the
Research Division EU / Europe of the German Institute for
International and Security Affairs (SWP). Her research interests
include security and defence policy. Paul Maurice is a Research
Fellow at the Study Committee on Franco-German Relations (Cerfa) at
the French Institute of International Relations (Ifri). His
research focuses on German domestic politics, foreign and security
