qrz010 - stoned angelina

uli berthold von den grazer klangforschern stoned angelina hat mir
im februar 2000 drei kurze stücke geschickt, die variationen einer
gemeinsamen quelle sind. zwei der stücke wurden damals auf KLÄNG
veröffentlicht; das dritte ist jetzt endlich hier zu hören. da ich
1999 meine einladung zur zusammenarbeit an diverse künstler in
aller welt auf englisch verschickt habe, hat uli weiterführende
erläuterungen zu den drei stücken auch auf englisch verfasst.
später haben wir diese sprachverwirrung gelöst. "[Sun, 27 Feb 2000

soundfile-loop, some kind of breathing or didgeridoo, maybe,
derived from some digital source, a bit of synthetic speech, i
think, repeated, treated with effects and filtered excessively.
this soundfile then was sent through a set of granulators and
ring-modulation was used to apply randomness to the rather
strict-rhythmic original to subtract as far as possible all 'known
structures' from it. well, the heart of it, was lying bare... and i
can't help, it sounds like chitin insects and they are definitely
artificial, no bio-mass added..." wobbly hat übrigens 2002 eine
sehr hübsche weiterverarbeitung dieser klänge hergestellt;
