Belarus has seen the strongest protests since now dictator
Lukashenko was elected into office in 1994 and turned the country
back into a quasi soviet system. In the wake of current protests,
there is a real chance that Belarus will see a democratic
transformation. Ales Michalevic ran for president 10 years
ago, was later put in jail, tortured, left the country only to
return later to keep on the fight. We will talk about the
protests, their nature and the perspectives for change. This
episode will be co hosted by Alex Benard. Alex is US american,
works in private equity and has extensive experience and know-how
in foreign relations.
