This episode looks at the war in Ukraine from two perspectives.
Olha Martynyuk, a Ukrainian historian and activist, tells us
about her country, her escape to Switzerland and her views on the
war. Lisa Salza, a campaigner at Amnesty Switzerland, talks about
Amnesty's work and position. Many human rights are being violated
in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries.
In this podcast and at Amnesty in general we want to take a more
intersectional approach. Intersectionality is a tool to analyze
power structures and discriminations. It is rooted in Black
feminism and coined by Kimberlé Crenshaw.
