EP8/1 Be a Student of the Game!feat. Pierre Beaulieu, modern Coach prototype

In this episode I had the honor to interview a rising
professional coach, who has all the tools to become one of the
really good ones in his business. This is him in a nutshell:
Great personality, great work ethic, passion, student of the
game, constantly trying to learn and to improve himself,
compassionate, smart, eloquent...


Pierre is a prototype of a "modern Coach", and
what that really means is also one to the topics in the
conversation. He is also telling a very inspiring story of how he
had to overcome big disappointments and learn that for quite some
time he has been his own worst enemy. This young man managed to
overcome his struggles and converted his passion for the game
into becoming a student of the game and a very
promising factor in the business of professional coaching. 


We are talking about the importance of developing the right
mindset to handle mental pressure as a young
athlete, about life skills, and how to get credibility and
respect.


Pierre is currently coaching in one of the most respected
pro-leagues in Europe, where he has a position as a coach for the
Krefeld Pinguine in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL)
