Jörg talks with master brewer Oliver Wessloh, founder of the
„Kehrwieder Kreativbrauerei“ in Hamburg, World Champion of beer
sommeliers and not only in Jörg's eyes is one of best in the field.
So … why do they talk about beer in an art podcast? Olli and Jörg
release their second so-called artist beer, a beer that they have
created and brewed together. These artist beers always come in a
very limited edition and in a box that also contains a high-end
silk screen print of the label artwork. It is a great combination
of art and beer ... Their first creation came out in 2016 and was
called „The Dirty Hands Of Alex Diamond“. It was a smoked porter, a
workman porter as the guys called it. It was strong and dark and
meant to be enjoyed after a long hard day at work. That one of
course is gone and sold out and drunk empty by now, so it was time
for a new batch of hoppy crazyness called „The Love Me Or Die“. The
story behind the beer and the artwork was inspired by a great song
by CW Stoneking.
