Zurich – a hot spot for research

Empa develops sustainable materials and technologies, for instance,
in the areas of energy, construction, living and working. The
institute's modular research and innovation building NEST, located
on the Empa campus in Dübendorf, provides fertile ground for the
researchers' ideas. Empa CEO Gian-Luca Bona explains how this
contributes to sustainable development in Switzerland.
