 Heuer haben die Kinks zwei ganz tolle Doppelalben
veröffentlicht: The Journey 1 und 2. Ganz besondere Sampler:
persönlich von den noch lebenden Kinks (Bassist Peter Quaife ist
2010 verstorben) zusammengestellt und kommentiert. Mit vielen
eher unbekannteres Songs, auch aus den 1970ern, und vielen
Original-Mono-Versionen. Hier gibt es auch für gestandene
Kinks-Fans noch etwas zu entdecken. Und alle anderen bekommen
eine sehr stimmige Werkeinführung. Wir gehen beide Alben Song für
Song durch – ergänzt mit der einen oder anderen Coverversion.
