#84 — Tomás Contreras & Jana Iszatt — Hospitality design through the eyes of the Ippolito Fleitz Group

With more than 20 years of work experience in several markets,
Tomás Contreras and Jana Iszatt greeted me at their Berlin office.
We talked about the differences between hospitality design in
Europe and other regions, but also what it actually meant to them
to have worked in other countries for such a long time? They
explained to me their conceptual approach of how to bring a (new)
story to life in order to make a hotel unique. What was even more
exciting, I learned what this process looks like with a current
project in the Black Forrest and how the Ippolito Fleitz Group
brings in their connections from all over the world. Having started
their adventures in Stuttgart in 2002, the companys’ founders Peter
Ippolito and Gunter Fleitz had always wanted to go abroad. Today
they’re truly international with offices not only in Germany, but
even in Shanghai, Moscow and Zurich. I’m really looking forward to
our joint journey through the world of hospitality.
