#13 Women in STEM

Shirin is a civil engineer, currently doing her PhD in Germany.
Originally from Iran, she noticed a lot of differences between
her homeland and Germany e.g. that less women are represented in
STEM studies in Germany. She tells us the differences between
both lands, stereotypes in Iran and Germany and how she fought
against her anxiety towards prejudices. An inspiring woman who
tells her story how she stood up and pushed back against quotes
like " you should chill and not be so emotional". She empowers
every women and says: "Everybody can do engineering - women are
not less smarter than men!" That's a fact.
