CFD Summit | How does Accenture pursue achieving global sustainability goals?

The world is facing many ecological, social and governance
challenges and the United Nations indicate that we are far from
reaching our global “sustainability development goals”.
Governments, NGOs, interest groups, companies and individuals are
all looking to increase their impact of sustainability. In
particular, the use of information & communication technologies
is projected to rise significantly over the next years,
increasingly impacting global energy consumption & greenhouse
gas emissions and thus in need for more and more to become a focus
area for sustainability strategies and measures. Accenture has
identified this need and set “sustainability” as one of the
company´s key strategic targets. On Accenture’s Cloud First Design
Summit in Kronberg, Anselm Ringleben and Patrick Niesel from
