This meditation was recorded during one of my online sessions. We
begin with a short pranayama: inhale through the nose (full lungs)
for two counts and – without pausing between the breaths – exhale
all the air out through the open mouth for four counts.
After about 30 breaths, I ask you to fully exhale all the air out
of your lungs and then hold the breath for as long as it feels
comfortable to you (sometimes swallowing helps), then you inhale
fully and hold the air in again, as long as you can.
After that, I will guide you through a feelings-awareness
meditation with emphasis on letting go tension in the physical and
emotional body. This session ends with a journey through nature and
a body scan.
You can do this session either sitting upright on a chair, on the
floor (cross-legged or on the shins), lying down on your mat or
bed. Whatever is most comfortable for you – and where you don’t
fall asleep ;-)
