Hochauflösende Spektroskopie gespeicherter Indium Ionen

New Results in cooling and storing single Indium ions are
presented. Cooling almost to the ground state of the trapping
potential could be demonstrated for a single ion as well as for a
two-ion coulomb-crystal. In high-resolution spectroscopy the
narrow-bandwidth clock-transition was measured with a resolution of
1,3*10^(-13). The absolute frequency of this transition was
measured with an uncertainty of 1,8*10^(-13). Also the properties
of the Indium-Ion as a reference of an optical freqency standard
are discussed.
