#32 Cotton farming: About the work of the Indian NGO Grameena Vikas Kendram

How is the current situation of the cotton farmers in India? Which
problems are they facing and what are solutions to tackle them?
These are just a few of the questions we asked inspiring Sanne Van
den Dungen in this Podcast episode. More than one year ago Sanne
decided to quit her Job in the Netherlands to work for the Indian
NGO Grameena Vikas Kendram. The NGO is working in the field of
rural development with smallholder farmers. In their RESET cotton
project, they work with tribal cotton farmers with a special focus
on women and train them in regenerative farming practices.
