#8 HerMusicWorld Podcast with Allie Silver of Free Radical
Productions Zoey Zoley in conversation with Artist Manager, Band
Therapist & Guest Speaker. If you want to be infected by
Allie's spirit and verve as much as I do, you need to listen to
this episode. She is a jack of all trades in numerous jobs in
the world music industry that she loves with all her heart. They
are all united by her passion for travel, music, and helping people
reach their full potential. As a band therapist and soon to be
hypnotherapist, her focus is on working with musicians. Although
she has experienced just as many obstacles as victories along the
way, she still focuses on the light that can be seen between the
cracks and shares what inspires her to be optimistic and care about
her well-being. As paradoxical as it may sound, wellness is a key
word for her not only in the physical sense, but especially on the
level of the soul and heart. Having also managed female bands
on tour with pregnancies and/or children, she can offer a
perspective on how it is possible and how this feminine approach
can even have a positive effect on any musician, regardless of
gender. What she leaves us with is her burning question for
everyone, especially people in key positions. Considering the
nurturing, healing and entertaining effect it has on people, which
requires a lot of energy, work and creativity from artists in all
fields. Why is the profession of artists or musicians not
considered, treated and paid like a so-called normal profession?
