17, he appeared with The Time in the film Purple Rain. At 20,
Prince appointed him lead singer of The Family. HE is the one who
sang Nothing Compares 2 U for the first time. In 2011, he reunited
The Family as fDeluxe. He is a Podcast Host: Music on the Run Every
Friday he puts 1 minute of the finest music online with his
FunkFriday With his bands St. Paul Peterson and the Minneapolis
Funk All Stars and The Classic American Rockers he appears
regularly.
