later, over 300 million photos are now produced every day and are
available anytime, anywhere. We live in an age of mass
communication. AND THE KING SAID, WHAT A FANTASTIC MACHINE is a
fascinating journey through the history of visual media, from its
beginnings to the present, a visually powerful collage of
countless archive films, TV recordings, amateur videos, live
streaming material, Youtube videos. How does this constant stream
of images guide, shape and influence our perception of reality
and our perception itself? A perceptive documentary film that
makes you think. 


Biography


Maximilien Van Aertryck and Axel Danielson have
been working for the Swedish production company Plattform
Produktion since 2013. Together they have made several short
films that have premiered at Cannes, Toronto and Sundance Film
Festival, among others.
