Welcome to another episode of our podcast
#UniStuttgartInternational! A stay abroad means a different
country, different people, different ways of living. And there it
is: the culture shock.


It’s something that could affect everybody who goes abroad, but
doesn’t have to. Therefore, it is an advantage to be aware of it
and to be able to detect the symptoms in yourself or others.


If you feel like you or someone you know is struggling with a
culture shock, do not hesitate to seek out for help! We at the
international office have colleagues who can help you to deal
with it!

Willkommen zu einer weiteren Folge unseres Podcasts
#UniStuttgartInternational! Ein Auslandsaufenthalt bedeutet
anderes Land, andere Leute, andere Lebensweisen. Und dann kommt
er: der Kulturschock. Ein Kulturschock ist etwas, das alle
treffen kann, die ins Ausland gehen, aber nicht muss. Deshalb ist
es von Vorteil, sich dessen bewusst zu sein und die Symptome bei
sich selbst oder anderen erkennen zu können.


Wenn du das Gefühl hast, dass du oder jemand, den du kennst, mit
einem Kulturschock zu kämpfen hat, zögert nicht, euch Hilfe zu
suchen! Wir im Dezernat Internationales haben Kolleg*innen, die
euch gerne helfen, damit umzugehen!
