Enlightenment and emancipation as the prerequisite for universalist thinking

With Francesco Pigozzo, founder and director of several art and
training initiatives in the field of European education, I talk
about the concept of the citizen in European thought. We are
talking about the concept of enlightenment and emancipation, which
are the prerequisites for universalist thinking that forms the
foundations of European democratic orders. Or, as Francesco Pigozzo
concludes, civic education, responsibility and commitment are not
democracy. All of this must be re-founded today.
