Condor Flugdienst - State owned soon?

#62 - After Thomas Cook went belly up, Condor was able with the
help of a credit provided by the German government to survive.
They have successfully search for a new owner and the white
knight was PGL. PGL is the owner of LOT Polish Airlines and a
state-owned company.

Every airline is hit by COVID-19 now and especially LOT is in
difficult times. As they are trying to get out of the contract to
buy Condor, the German government wants to take the shares and
give Condor a chance to find a new owner.
