Sharren Haskel is a member of the Israeli parliament (Knesset)
and chair of the UNRWA caucus. She provides insights into the
work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, the only UN
organization dedicated to helping refugees from a specific region
or conflict, and explains the accusations made against UNRWA.
Concerning the situation in Gaza, she demands that donor states
should not give their taxpayers money to an organization that is
compromised by Hamas and where humanitarian aid ends up in the
hands of Hamas. Sharren Haskel points out that there are viable
alternatives to UNRWA.
