the impact House of Dietrich has. No matter, if you only heard
the legends or stood inside a not-really-queer bar squeezed in
like a sardine, shoulder to shoulder to dozens of other queers
desperate for a drop of fabulosity in the assimilationist desert
,that Leipzig once was, at some point in time you felt the soft
rain of gender fuckery, that was so badly needed. In this episode
we talk with the one who watered this ultimately very fertile
soil: MADELEINE DIETRICH? The HBIC of HoD talks to us about their
experiences of queer nightlife in the States, coming to Leipzig,
the importance of creating spaces and the political need for
them.
