Sun, wind, or is it better an atom? - Sonne, Wind, oder doch besser Atom?

The Australian government is planning an economic future for the
country without CO2. This target should thus be achieved by 2050.
To get there, the government is primarily relying on renewable
energy sources - primarily solar and wind - which are intended to
replace the current coal-fired power plants. The opposition sees
things differently and is calling for the construction of nuclear
power plants. Financial expert Dr. Klaus Wiegel doubts that this is
realistic. - Die australische Regierung plant eine wirtschaftliche

erreicht werden. Um dahin zu kommen, setzt die Regierung
vornehmlich auf erneuerbare Energiequellen - vornehmlich Sonne und
Wind - die die aktuellen Kohlekraftwerke ersetzen sollen. Die
Opposition sieht das anders und fordert den Bau von
Atomkraftwerken. Der Finanzexperten Dr. Klaus Wiegel zweifelt, daß
das realistisch ist.
