Where the sparks go

The children's story Where the sparks go is written by Abbie
Phillips Walker. 


A cat and a dog are sitting by the fire, looking at the crackling
flames. They enjoy the sparks going up and flying around. Then
one of the sparks jumps out and starts a conversation with them.
The spark tells them that all the stars in the sky are sparks
that flew up through the chimney and made their way to the sky.


The cat is cynical, so the cat and the dog go check it out.
