Ich bin zurück aus der Sommerpause. Während draußen die Sonne
scheint, wir es in der aktuellen Folge musikalisch eher dunkel:
Ich hatte die große Ehre, als erster Podcast mit LONE
ASSEMBLY aus der Schweiz zu sprechen. Das Genfer
Quartett hat mit ihrer EP "That Never Happened"
eine süchtig machende EP herausgebracht, die ich rauf und runter
höre: Ein schwarzes Post-Punk-Synthie-Pop-Crossover mit Anklängen
von Joy Division und Editors (Danke Instagram-Algorithmus!) Im
Interview spreche ich mit den Künstlern über ihre Einflüsse, was
wir von ihnen in Zukunft erwarten dürfen und stelle zudem
Song-Snippets vor. Viel Vergnügen und düsteren Hörgenuss.

I'm back from my summer break: While the sun is shining outside,
it's getting gloomy in the current episode: I had the huge honor
to talk to LONE ASSEMBLY from Geneva in
Switzerland as the first podcaster ever. With their EP
"That Never Happened" the quartet had released
addictive music that I listen to all the time: a black
post-punk-synth-pop crossover with echoes of Joy Division and
Editors (thank you Instagram algorithm!) In the interview, I talk
to the artists about their influences, what we can expect from
them in the future and also present their song snippets. Have fun
with this dark listening pleasure.
