Joseph has been living with a diagnosed severe mental illness for
the past 22 years. Since then, and after the loss of his best
friend, he founded and became the Executive Director of Broken
People Peer Support, an international mental health peer support
organization. He also is the author of the Amazon national best
seller Broken Like Me - An Insider's Toolkit For Mending Broken
People. Joe is passionate about creating space for anyone who
feels broken (like him) to find community and purpose.
