Social Media: Wird unsere Gesellschaft zunehmend (a)sozial? | 38

In dieser Folge geht es um soziale Medien und soziale Netzwerke
und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Realität aus der Perspektive eines
Social Media Managers! Diese Folge war thematisch bisher wohl die
spontanste, die ich geplant habe. Ca. 1 Minute vorher kam mir die
Idee! Und warum? Weil am Montag, den 04.10.2021, die sozialen
Netzwerke Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram und WhatsApp
einfach für insgesamt mehr als 6 Stunden offline waren! Außer den
engsten Mitarbeitern wusste wahrscheinlich zuerst niemand so
genau, was da passiert war. Da Facebook und Co. sowohl während
meiner Ausbildung zum E-Commerce Kaufmann (mehr dazu in Folge 12)
als auch aktuell in meiner beruflichen Tätigkeit als Social Media
Manager für einen Medienverlag eine wichtige Rolle spielen,
bietet sich diese Folge perfekt für eine Reise durch die moderne
Medienkultur im Internet an.



In this episode, I delve into the fascinating world of social
media and social networks, exploring their impact on reality from
the unique perspective of a social media manager! This episode
was, without a doubt, the most spontaneous one I've planned so
far. Just a minute before recording, the idea struck me! And you
know why? Because on Monday, October 4th, 2021, the popular
social networks Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and
Whatsapp unexpectedly went offline for over 6 hours! Initially,
only a select few knew what had caused this unprecedented
disruption. Given that platforms like Facebook and Co. have
played a significant role in both my training as an e-commerce
merchant (more details in episode 12) and my current professional
journey as a social media manager for a prominent media
publisher, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to explore the
intricate nuances of modern media culture on the Internet. Get
ready for a thought-provoking and insightful episode!
