This video demonstrated the classical yoga peacock posture,
mayurasana, and it also demonstrates a couple of warm-up
stretches that you can do for the wrists before you start. The
peacock has many benefits, including building strength in the
wrists, arms, shoulders and back, and it also increases the
digestive fire. According to the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the
peacock is considered one of the most beneficial poses.
