@Peryl 's musical journey began as a drummer, but his passion for
sound, inspired by ethereal landscapes, led him to explore modular
synthesis and granular techniques. This exploration earned him
recognition for his innovative soundscapes. As a
live-only-performer and excessive sound designer, Peryl relies on
his modular system and chains of effects to captivate his audiences
with high-energy sets. Many sounds in his SPANDAU20 mixtape where
created like that. It was recorded live at @aboutblank – so the
focus of the setup was on efficiency and innovation, with key
players like the Elektron Octatrack and Roland TR8s leading the
charge. He's streamlined the process for live performances, adding
a UC33 MIDI controller and a duo of effects pedals for that extra
atmospheric touch.️ In the studio Peryl has been curating
recordings with their own distinct vibes, each one a gem waiting to
be unleashed. In his recent live sets, he's diving into
experimentation, blending these sonic treasures in fresh
combinations that showcase their full potential on the club stage.
