“Remembering means being annoying without end!” Albert Eckert,
civil rights activist.

Remembering queer victims of the Nazi regime has been a path of
struggle and ongoing conflict up to today. This episode will
explore the hostile, unbearable continuation of the
criminalisation of homosexuality in both German states after the
war. It will highlight the brave voices of survivors who were
persecuted under Paragraph 175, and the rise of homosexual
activist groups in the GDR in the 1980s who fought for the
recognition of queer victims.
