Jon McAuliffe on Innovation and Statistical Methods

Bloomberg Radio host Barry Ritholtz speaks with Jon McAuliffe,
who is co-founder and chief investment officer at the Voleon
Group, heading the firm’s investment-strategy research and
development. McAuliffe has a substantial track record of
successful innovation in applying statistical methods to
real-life prediction problems, particularly in the financial
markets. McAuliffe is also an adjunct professor of statistics at
the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his Ph.D.
