An award winning concert pianist and pedagogue, she was inducted into the Steinway and Sons Teacher Hall of Fame in New York (2019); and was awarded first prize with her piano duo partner, Dr. Lana Henchell, at the 2018 Coimbra World Piano Competition.Carmen passionately combines her love of the arts with entrepreneurship. She leads a collaborative team of nearly 40 faculty and staff in her role as Owner and Executive Director of Morin Music Studio in Calgary, Canada which is one of Alberta’s largest and fastest growing private music education facilities.
